Bryan uses himself as a reference= perfection.

Love that someone put these side by side for comparisons. Not all productions send acting references for animators- really great that they have been doing it, even for the previous series (it’s not just for the martial arts move!)

I like all these books!

Everyone has part of them that needs to be reined in. It’s that little urge you sometimes feel to hop over the edge of a great height, when you’re looking out from a high building. It’s the immediate spark of anger you feel when someone cuts you off, and makes you want to run your car into that…

Today instead of a character design I drew Harry and Michael in Costume for the ball. Since I didn’t need to make a new character design and just change their outfits I also colored it to give Manga Studio color test run.

BRILLIANCE. I love every aspect of this.

I just realized the Mayans weren’t counting down to the end of the world. They were counting down to The Hobbit.

Andrew Garfield Rumored to be in Talks with Producers About Joining the Cast of Inspector Spacetime
Garfield refused to comment about rumors that he has been cast in the long running program, but the blogsphere is lighting up with talks that he has been set to play the next Inspector. Fresh off the set of the most recent Spiderman reboot, Garfield may be ready to make the switch to television work. “I love the show,” Garfield said in 2008 about the sci-fi cult classic. “As a kid, I would pretend I had my own cosmic nail clippers.” Perhaps this time next year Garfield will have gotten a chance wield a real pair.

“Stagecoach” Mary Fields (c. 1832-1914) was born a slave in Tennessee and following the Civil War, she moved to the pioneer community of Cascade, Montana. In 1895, when she was around 60 years old, Fields became the second woman and first African American carrier for the US Postal Service. Despite her age, she never missed a day of work in the ten years she carried the mail and earned the nickname “Stagecoach” for her reliability. Fields loved the job, despite the many dangers and difficulties such as wolves and thieves (she was an excellent marksman, defending her route with a revolver and a rifle). The people of Cascade so loved and respected Fields, that each year on her birthday they closed the schools to celebrate the occasion. They even built her a new house when she lost her home in a fire in 1912.

My only regret is that I’ll never get to see her in a buddy cop Western with Clint Eastwood.

What are these similarities, out of curiosity? There’s the whole thing about the train-station-as-metaphor-for-the-afterlife, but that was also used in Narnia and The Matrix 3. J.K. Rowling didn’t originate the trope.

I’m amused at how much love this costume is getting lately. I’ve been leaning away from wearing it lately, despite it being the most favorable on the comfort vs. hotness graph, to give my other costumes some wear-time. Perhaps the universe wants a comeback? :D
